Need Help - Can my company do this??

Where to Start?
1. On the 16th of March 09 my whole company was told that all our positions were at risk of redundancy.
2. A restructure was announced a few days later and my position was safe.
3. A seconded restructure was announced again in April and again my position was safe.
4. Now today June 24th (this is a week over the original 90 day notice period)a announcement again was made and now I've been made redundant and I've been told to go on Friday the 26th
Can they do this???
Thanks in advance, any help would be great

I think a call to ACAS is worthwhile. Its free, and they will take you through your personal situation in confidence.
I cant comment specifically because its not clear if the restructure announcements were part of the consultation process (i.e. only proposals) or represent an outcome, which was later changed (the latter potentially being an unfair consultation process). This view might depend on specifically what you were told.
Just to check - do you have a notice period in your contract? They should be honoring this period commencing 24th June, or offering you pay in lieu.0
