I use the Adidas for Women Action 3 Intensive (orange lid) I work in a hot hospital ward, in a nylon uniform, so I sweat absolute buckets and its the only one I've found that a) Im not horribly allergic to, b) actually works, and c) is still on at the end of the day.
Only downside is that its expensive but I've discovered you can get it in my local Poundland!!! I tried Sure last month as it was on offer and I found I had to reapply it in the middle of the day as it wasnt working... needless to say when I do my monthly stock-up tomorrow will be buying Adidas again!

Mrs_Ryan, I've noticed that my local Poundland doesn't always get the same stock in.

I would stock up if you can, rather than be disappointed ;)
Also keep an eye on Boots, they sometimes have offers and you can get the points.

Another Mitchum girl here who's noticed it's not working as well

Might have to give the Dove a try......

Thank you for all your suggestions. I bought some of the Dove go fresh last night from my 24 hour asda, wore it today, pretty clammy day weather wise, hectic and stressful day at work and then shopping with the kids and husband (honestly I don’t know who complains more!)

Verdict – still feeling fresh and dry! :j

    Thank you ladies

I've found deodrant to be like shampoo - for a month or two it works great, then your hair or odur go back to being horrible. For that reason I change my deodrant ever couple of months, it seems to work for me (I hope!)

another vote for mitchum stopping working, i stocked up on lots when they were on offer a long time ago but forgot to take one into hospital, asked OH to pick one up for me, he bought one (even though they were in the cupboard?) and it doesnt work as well as the ones i stocked up on! it doesnt say anything about a new formula or anything though  just doesnt say 48 hours any more.

might try the sure maximum stuff - i dont really trust "normal" deoderants, especially not in this weather

I use a rock crystal. OK it doesn't stop you sweating but it does stop the smell. You just wet the crystal, rub it on under your arms and let it dry. The minerals in the crystal rub off onto your skin and prevent the bacteria feeding or what ever it is that they do to make your sweat smell of BO.

Talcum powder is really really good for keeping you dry-load of talc under the pits, then Dove stick, then a bit of Sure on top seems to work for me! Agree about the Mitchum not working-it used to be so good as well. Another one who couldn't get on with Driclor-the burning was horrendous!

    thank you wat!

I go to three different Poundlands in the area (just depends where I am) but I havent had any problems getting it yet. i always stock up at the end of the month (payday) anyway, but if not it just means I have to pay full price (boo!)
