Hello,
I NEED your help, the deodorant I have used for years (Mitchum roll on) has stopped working, I am paranoid about being a stinkypoo:rolleyes: and wondered what you use and if you would recommend it.
Thank you
WG x

Dove Go Fresh is awesome, really moisturising and doesn't make me sweaty or stinky. Plus it comes in nice smells (grapefruit and lemongrass, cucumber and green tea, and lily and watermint) and is often on 2 for £2.50 or other cheapo deals in Boots."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

Personally I don't find any of them really work
sorry, at least not in this weather. The only thing I find really helps is to wear clothes that are loosely cut under the arm if that's any help... 0 -
Second the Dove, I changed to it last year after I found the right guard no longer worked. Takes a while to get used to the very strong fresh smell but works for me0

I dabbled with Driclor but didn't get on with it... red stinging rings under my armpits every morning!
I picked up (new?) Dove maximum protection the other day and I'm giving it a whirl. There's also a Sure equivalent. I think the claim is 48 hours dryness. Slight exaggeration, I'm finding, but the stuff's ok.
I've thrown a ton of money at Sure over the years and never been happy with their standard antiperspirants
I must be stupid or something.
I agree about loose cuts under the arm - can I find tops that stay like this after they've been through the wash? Can I hell!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I have recently started using Sure for women. It says its 'body responsive' and it really is! If I start to get a little too warm I get a waft of the deodorant.
Hubby has sworn by the mens version for years but I only bought it to try as my usual deodorant was unavailable at the time and the Sure was on offer. Sure is also better than my old one because its an anti perspirant where my other one was just a nice smelling spray really.
I'm really pleased with it.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I use Bionsen, which is not an antiperspirant, but a deodorant, with green credentials (all natural japanese salts, apparently). I have tried the spray one and I am now on the roll-on version, which I find works much better. It works very well for me and last aeons. My only problem is tight t-shirts under the arms, but is the fabric of the T-shirts that ends up smelling after a long day at work in the boling office, not me. I highly reccommend it!0

I am a Mitchum girl, although I too have noticed it not working so well recently. I wonder if they have changed the ingredients?
OH wears Dove (dark blue one) and I've tried it and seems to work really well, better than Mitchum. The only problem is that I am allergic to every deoderant I have tried (except Mitchum) but it takes a few days for the itchy rash (nice) to appear with Dove. (OH has no problems with it, its just freaky old me!)
Have tried Driclor too -didn't get on with it at all! Horrible itchy mess within hours."I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
I usually use palmolive soft & gentle BUT for example when i am in Spain...I tend to use Speed Stick (my husbands) because it seems to work WELL in HOT conditions such as Spain.

I have noticed that my Mitchum roll on is not working latley too. I think they must have changed the formula going by what others are saying.0

When Mitchum had an online voucher offer that I combined with a boots price promotion  I stocked up on loads of tins of Mitchum.
Miss Twit & I are working our way through the ladies ones.....so I've pinched a tin of the mens off OH
It does seem to be working well and doesn't smell manly
