Just looking for some advice,i authorised a company called Claims Information Services to reclaim my children 's tax credit in January 2009(didn't realise i could do it myself). In mid Febuary i received a letter from the tax office saying i was owed £601,when i hadn't heard anything by mid april i sent an e mail to the company and received one back saying there had been a !!!! up and my money would be sent at the end of april and that was the last i heard,i've sent numerous e mails and phoned on countless occasions but to no avail,i'm wondering if i've been ripped off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
