This lad needs a good slap and should grow a pair!!!
You seriously saying a BLOKE is getting all upset because he thinks he is being ignored on an internet forum???
I guess you live in a village and he is the only one of his type!!:rotfl:0 -
how can you ignore someone in a malicious way?In_Search_Of_Me wrote: »Problem is chaddy that a friend in work is upset thinking someone was ignoring him...while appreciating that people want a joke its not funny for some (ie when you feel someone really is ignoring you in a malicious way) and would be really nice to be able to reassure him one way or another....Plus there comes a point when a bit of fun becomes like playground bullying...
unless it was someone he cares about, why is he bothered anyway?
I couldnt care less who has me on ignore anyway, makes no difference to my life.
But i dont think you can tell who has you on ignore.
If your friend is being ignored, or thinks he is, by this person then they are not worth the effort in my opinion:cool::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

Now I suspect this thread is actually a joke....you have ignored at least 2 sensible answers, both of which I quoted yesterday. Either you don't have the wit to understand what you're being told, or you're ignoring me..I suspect the former.
I suspect your 'friend' is yourself, and I'm starting to understand why they're being ignored...I shall join the legion.

Hello erik! Final response before I at least will move on from this...yes sure is a werid thread...I thought I was asking a serious question and had expected a serious answer...
In terms of being answered in a malicious way what I meant was that it can be very hurtful being ignored in a situation where you comment within group and specific people dont reply...like being sent to coventry!
Database error the person isnt me - as someone else said if someone was ignoring me then they werent the kind of people I would want to deal with - if I had a problem then I would be able to say so but some people find it difficult to do so. Your final comment was uncalled for but says much more about you than me...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Just to clear up- s he being ignored on an internet forum, or in real life? All the response seem to be about being ignored on MSE, but I'm not sure your posts make it clear!

There is an 'ignore list' or 'kill fillter' where you put someones profile if you don't want to see\read what they say. You can see it under your username here:
As for seeing if you're on someone's, only the site admin will be able to see that obviously. As otherwise it kind of defeats the reason for having one doesn't it. Lets face it if you invite someone into a thread and they ignore you, there's a high probability they didn't see your invite, or they don't want to attend. If it keeps happening, then you're on their killfillter and it's upto them to determine if they wish to let you off it.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
ABH - I really didn't know that feature existed. What kind of person can't self censor and hold their own internal list?
Insearch.... I guess I didn't know all the features of this board, I've never noticed an 'ignore list' anywhere..but as an adult i've never needed to look for one! Considering lack of knowledge of this 'feature' your answers were sensible...Even with knowledge I sincerely doubt that admins would release info from these lists.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
Well I guess the answer to the OP's question is a huge NO
and that appears to be the only answer she was after
