I have just downloaded my first tv prog using a bit torrent client. The file has been stored as .bin and I can't get anything to recognise it. What do I do? I have a PC, not Mac by the way.
Thanks in advance....

a .bin file is usually a CD image.. if you have Nero you can burn it to CD / DVD using that,0

Files are 750mb each, I think this is too large for cd, so are you saying that I can burn onto a dvd and this will be ok for viewing through a normal dvd player??0

Even at 750Mb it might still be a CD image file I think. Depends on format, but it might play in DVD player if it is something like SVCD format0

You need This to play .bin or any other video file on your pc
hope this helps ( I know it will too) :T

I'd guess that the bin sould have an associated .cue file with it. 750Meg can easily fit on a CD if in Mode 2 (which would be VCD or SVCD format). They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0

You can mount the cue file using a virtual cd drive which is normally downloaded with a bin file,Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650

As mentioned already, these are an disk image file and 'instructions' to CD writings software on how to create a video CD0 -
use ISObuster (https://www.isobuster.com) or Alcohol120%... no need to burn a CD0
