Dell Compatiable With The Ipod? Please Help Me

Hi
Recently i brought an ipod and unfortunately it doesn't agree with my toshiba laptop. I've changed it several times (my ipod) and now i've decided to take the plunge and buy a new laptop as i'm lost without my music.
i've been looking at some dell laptops and as i'm on a budget i'm interested in the inspiron 1300, i was wondering if you can help me? will this laptop be okay with my ipod and all my music needs
any help would be much appreciated

to use an IPOD you'll need a USB port and an operating system that supports ITunes.. So a laptop with win xp will work, the brand doesn't matter.0

they suggested that at apple and i tried it with my laptop, but the ipod still froze?! so i'm very confused0
