Has anyone else noticed that the forum searches etc seem to be a lot faster since the upgrade?

It seems the posts on 12 am/ 12 pm have all disappeared.

I thought it said on here that it would be read only when the forums were being upgraded? I only got the page 'We're offline' with that funny fish looking thing. I couldn't access the forums at all.
