Is cornwall too far?
Within an hour of Newquay are loads of theme parks i.e. "The Shires" "Flambards" "Pixie Land" plus great beaches such as Crantock and Hollywell Bay.
A visit to the Cider Farm will set you up for the evening ;D0 -
