    it is much more complicated than that and is about the interpretation of the law.

    Well, its not really free since we can't turn round without a charge, and then another charge for making them charge us.

    The arguments in the HOL do seem to suggest that the reason to appeal is to keep the free in credit model going ie, we charge you so someone else doesn't get charged.

    I wouldn't use the word rich necessarily, but why should 1 persons misery be another person free banking?

    I am certainly not rich and never get charges, just organised.
  • Many countries outside the UK charge a monthly fee for having a bank account so if we follow suit it would make us in line with the rest.
