Can I add music to an ipod nano without registering it?
I've got some albums i'd like to add to it before I give it to my girlfriend for her birthday.
Thanks,
Pete.

You don't need to register an iPod. But there's no harm in doing so and your girlfriend will never find out0

It'll be on a seperate pc to mine. Am I just as well sticking the albums on a dvd and letting her copy them onto her ipod when she's installed itunes onto her pc?

If nano's can also be used as hard-drives then you can put the music in there.
(As well as connecting to Itunes Ipods also show up as an extra drive on your computer to move files)

Then all she has to do is drag them onto her computer and then into Itunes. Y
But you can only play them as music when they go through Itunes - This would only be to keep the files till she sets it up properly0
