The digidave one is referbished "- Netgear WGT624 108 Mbps Wireless Firewall Router (refurbished by Netgear)." nothing necesserally wrong with that though, just why it is cheaper.

So the amazon one would be fine then. Many thanks for your help. I did just suggest to son as he rushed through the house (he is moving his stuff already) that he left his and I get him a new one - I think he said he didnt want that as his play station is tuned in or something.

Ive now ordered one that was recommended on the forum. Sadly it wont be here for a few days so I may be offline for a while which horrifies me

Blow me, I recommend ASDL24 - I ordered about 4 p.m. yesterday and the modem router has arrived at 10 a.m this morning and its an upgrade as the V4 was out of stock, no extra charged. Brilliant
