OK google 'vitaleurope', it is my dentist, they have a direct link to all flights going to terminal 1 Budapest , from all UK airports and they are cheap, went 3 times last year and saved a fortune.

look like wizzair is the cheapest at £237.96 for 2 adults. Any idea what wizzair is like?

Yep, your right, it is cheaper at the mo. Though if you book earlier, you do get the cheap flights on the vital link. I find it is easy because it lists all possible airports and dates. Wizz are pretty much the same as Easyjet, budget airline.
Budapest is lovely, hope you enjoy it
