I doubt you'll find better than Carjet.

    Hi

When we went on holiday to Spain a couple of years ago, I used carjet.
I found them to be good value, had a decent car, and their service was pretty good.
    This was from Barcelona airport.

    Cheers

My daughter used Carjet in Alicante last year. Got a new Aircon Fiesta - somebody "keyed" it while they had it. When they took the car back - no bother - all covered in the inclusive insurance. What you see is what you pay - no extras !

If you have Tesco clubcard vouchers you can use Avis. I have just rented a car in Lanzarote for a week using £35 worth of vouchers which converted to £140 in Avis vouchers. Granted they were quoting £30 more for the week than Carjet (which was the cheapest I found), but it was free!

now that sounds like a great deal, unfortunately no vouchers at mo, will remeber that one for next year and go ahead and book with carjet then, thanks a lot

    Hi Ayla,
I am pretty certain you won't get a better deal than with carjet. One thing I would advise is that you take the voluntary tyre insurance (15 Euros) this is the only thing NOT included with general carhire.
I should know as my daughter works for the company in Alicante :p

    Hi Ayla,
For some reason unknown to me the tyres are not included.....so the driver is held responsible for any UNDUE wear or tear on the tyres. People have been known to take the cars off road..........cut the tryes to pieces and then claim it was normal 'wear & tear'. This insurance will be offered to you when you pick up your car at the airport, as it is only 15 Euros well worth the peace of mind. I had a blow out last time I was there, and as I had the cover, I didn't have to pay a penny.

We always use Carjet at Alicante (and Murcia) and have been very pleased with the service. However, remember they are just brokers. It is the car supplier that determines the value of the hire.

We won't accept cars supplied by Iberocar now. The one we had was in poor condition and others we have spoken to have also had problems with that company.

The 15EUR additional insurance also covers windscreen glass damage which is another exclusion from the 'all-inclusive' price. Some suppliers offer just wheels and tyres cover for 10EUR but it's probably the glass cover which is better value. Haven't yet tried to get just glass for 5EUR!!!!!!!!!
