A quick gas/plumbing question ...

Hi
My brother needs a new gas hob and has seen one second hand - it says it is suitable for "natural gas/methane".
Please excuse complete dimness(!) but does this mean it's okay for use with the standard mains gas - is this what is known as "natural gas"?
It also has an attachment (some screws) for adapting it to be used with "liquid gas (cylinder gas") but my brother just wants to be able to use it plumbed into the mains.
He will be getting a Corgi chap to fit it but just wanted to make sure it's the right type/suitable or mains gas usage.
Many thanks in advance.

Mains gas provides you with Natural Gas so you will be just fine in this instance.
You quite often get an extra bit for converting the appliance for LPG but you don't need that.travel_freak wrote: »Hi
