Garage conversion/porch/driveway

Options
I've received a few quotes/estimates to convert a single garage into a bedroom, add some windows and a new outside door to the porch and block pave the drive way.

One quote from a garage conversion company was £12,000 for all three jobs.

Another from a local builder came in at about £7,500.

The garage is standard single size and the job would include the following:

Bricking up of existing garage door, fitting of window 1800 x 200 to centre.
Forming of new doorway to existing hall.
Plastering to new room & making good of any disturbed plasterwork to hallway.
Laying of new floor to bedroom with insulation laid underneath.
Fitting of 2No new double sockets, 1No new light & switch.
Fitting of new arcatrives & skirtings
Fitting of new wardrobes to back wall to be finalised on site.
Fitting of new radiator beneath window.
Clearing of all rubbish from site
Price inclusive of all materials, labour and building control fees.

The estimate is £4478

The porch would be:

To fit new frames to form porch as discussed, altering brickwork as required. Windows & doors to match existing.

The estimate is £1080

The drive:

To renew existing drive extending as discussed to area approx. 29 square meters including paths.
New drive to be in block paving with £18 per square meter allowed for purchase of paving.
Rubbish cleared from site on completion.

The estimate is £2000

Does this sound do-able?

I'm in north Nottinghamshire.
