Nationwide Bank Charges Reclaim rejected, what now?!

Hi there

In the past we tried to reclaim bank charges, which was rejected outright by Nationwide.

More recently when my partner was made redundant, he tried again, claiming hardship (he had only £60p/w JSA coming in), which was again rejected (on the grounds that he wasn't in hardship when racking up the fees (which he was!)).

Since then, six months on, my partner is happily now in work. But what do we do now to make sure that our claim is handled when the banks start dealing with these claims again?!

You already have an acknowledgement from them as they rejected your hardship claim. The wording should state that it will not be dealt with until the conclusion of the OFT test case issues.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
