Used diesel Ford Fiesta, any good?
Options
I'm considering selling my Peugeot 106 (52) and purchasing a used Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi (~07). Does anyone have any thoughts on the Fiesta? Or indeed alternatives?
I mainly (pretty much only!) do long distance motorway driving at the weekends and this particular model came recommended for its fuel consumption figures.
I'm thinking about budgets but I cannot work out how much I can expect for my 106. It's done 60,000 miles, metallic paint, CD player, new cambelt, new catalytic convertor and a new oxygen sensor very recently. I was hoping for close to £2000 for it, can anyone offer a better idea?
Also, warrantydirect.co.uk, has anyone used them before? Is it a good idea or simply pointless?
TIA
