Reclaiming PPI from Welcome

Hi
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere before.
I have received a letter from Welcome following my initial letter for reclaiming the PPI.
The letter states they have sent me a questionnaire (which I have not received) for me to complete so they can investigate and unless I complete and return within 4 weeks of their letter they will close the complaint.
Do I have to complete a questionnaire - is this just a stalling tactic on their behalf?
Many thanks

Hi there and welcome.;)
I would personally write back and inform them you have not received any form of questionaire.
And some will say its some kind of stalling tactic.
You could though, if the sale of the policy was within the last 6 years, tell them "you are aware that they should still hold details of the purchased when they sold this to you", please refer to them, and say "the sale was agreed by you".
Its up to you or ask if they can send another questionaire because you have not received one, for instance if this sale was more than say 5 or 6 years ago the chances are they may just require that bit of information in order for them to investigate further.
Good luck with this and please keep us posted.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
