Hi
Just noticed you're having trouble logging into smile. I'm slightly worried as I was going to swap to them from my Halifax current account because I want 24hr access. Is this the only trouble you've had with them or is there anything else I should be warned about?
Sorry I'm being rather cheeky, I know. Will give mucho gracias for comments!

Mines working ok ? NICCI Smile is a very good current account with excellent CS - If you are thinking of changing banks then try Alliance + Leicester . The current account pays 5% and you recieve £25 for opening the account. Also you can be refered by me and I will also recieve £25 of which £20 I will give back to you. PM me if you are interested.0

There is a message on the Smile telephone line regarding this. It is affecting AOL users. When you are in AOL press CTRL & K at the same time. Type in Keyword Securefix. Re start your AOL software and you should be able to get in. I spoke to a guy in technical services today and he said that they changed the address of the login page for their banking slightly and for some reason AOL did not recognise this change.0

The same thing has occurred with HFC Marbles' site when using AOL (so the 'securefix' gets the new url does it?) Smile are prone to change slightly the address of their login pagin back and forth I've found......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Hmmm, I could'nt access Co-op online banking. Don't they own Smile? Anyway, when I tried the keyword thingy, my computer crashed! Any way I can get rid of the Securefix(apparently it's FX and not FIX)gremlin?'Puritanism: the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy'.

it is fixed and working ok.
i got caught yesterday with it not working .
Smile did put a note ...stupidly not on the homepage ... but on a " account login" page ..to say there was a problem with aol and to ring aol on 0870..... so last night at 8.30 .. i phoned the landline alternative and was on 45 minutes while they tried everything changing settings etc and couldn't get it to work . They said a couple of other people had phoned but he had not had internal info about the problem . He ended up saying " this will be passed to our server dept and it should be fixed within 48 hours "
First thing this morning i emailed smile politely telling them i was not impressed and what was happening ? ...
9.30 pm no response yet !.
Tried a few times during the day to get on smile .. no luck .. went on 20 mins ago ... everything fine.
Pleased .. another day and i'd have had chaos with transfers ... bill payments etc.0 -

Nope, it's keyword Securefix. Type CTRL & K to bring up the keyword box, then type securefix and it will work.0
