Can I ask for a bit of advice, please? (Change in circumstances)

in Credit cards
I have had a Sainsburys card for a few months, but the 0% intrest rate has just run out. Normally, I would just look for another 0% to swap it to, but I have had a change in circumstances, so am a bit unsure of what to do next.....
I need to apply for a new card, but I have left my old job, and have become self-employed in the last 2 months. Because of this, my earnings at the moment are a bit erratic, and I cannot really guestimate what my annual salary will be. My husband has a full time job and a good income, so I was wondering if I could use his income to apply for a card?
I would swap my balance to a new joint card - but he has been doing the 0% swapping thing for years, and he feels he is running out of banks to try.....(is this true, or could he reapply to a bank where he had previously had a 0% interest card?)
can anyone offer me any suggestions please, or are we in fact stuck with our present Credit Cards?
Many thanks

Don't you think it is time to have a sit down and work out a proper budget that will enable you to REPAY your debt instead of trying to shuffle from one card to the next?0 -

We are repaying the balance.....slowly but surely.
We are not spending on these cards, building up more debt - just repaying. BUT repaying debts takes time......now is the time we need to move them to another 0% card to avoid paying interest. But due to my change in circumstance, I am asking for a bit of advice, as I am unsure of how to proceed.
I hope that clarifies things for you a little?April 2010 - Took out mortgage for £112,000

You can certainly reapply, I have had 2 Sainsbuy's cards, but I am unsure as to whether you can transfer a balance from your card onto one your husband owns, and you are an additional cardholder.Someone soon will know more than me...0

You can't really apply for new cards if your income is 'erratic' as they are going to ask what your income is. Even if you say self employed and 2 months in the same sentence, most lenders will be very cautious, and this is putting it nicely. This is just my opinion of course, and saying what you want hear will do you no good, but of course the only sure way of finding out is applying.
I reckon your best best if asking existing lenders to offer you another 0% rate for a while? You say you aren't increasing your debt, but you technically are by paying interest, but I know that's your question anyway!0
