Can I claim back charges on old accounts?

I changed my current account a few years back and closed my old one. Back in the day when I was a little silly with money I racked up loads of charges - I still have all my old account details but can I claim?

Thanks

You can go back 6 years Katehh. Post ALL correspondence, recorded delivery. You must pay £10 for statements/summary of charges. If one of your accounts, was with HSBC they may even return your £10, like they did me.

You can go back to 27th July 2001 under the FSA waiver on bank charges.
