Hi guys after reading this forum I decided to try and claim my credit card charges back from Barclays. I have had various problems with paying on time etc when I was out of work last year, I always pay the minimum but got charged etc. I tried to claim the ppi unemployment cover but they wouldn't let me as I had been a student the year before? Anyway I have phoned lots of times asking them to freeze the interest so I could get up to date etc .I always got the same answer NO.
A week after I sent of my £10 cheque and request for statements I recieved a phone call from Barclaycard offering to freeze interest for 3 months, so I can get my payments and account up to date,obviously I said yes, do you think this is a coincidence that they have started "playing nice" just as I begin my claim procedure?

have they sent you your statements?
If they have I will copy and paste a letter that got a response and payout within 9 days(excl. weekends).

Hi Thanks natweststaffmember, no they have just cashed cheque so am hoping to receive statements soon:jthat would be great if you could do this for me.:beer:
