in Credit cards
hi ,my virgin credit card with 0% balance transfer rate runs out in six weeks ,the card is in my name ,i have heard that i probably wont be accepted for another card for at least 12 months. i know my wife can apply for one in her name, but what are the chances of being accepted, using the same bank details for payments.

If you are financially associated to your wife then it may be unlikely that she will get accepted if you have bad credit history as they will search your file as well.
If you don't have bad history, it is worth a try. Myself and my partner (financially associated) both have separate virgin credit cards, using the same bank details etc for payments (we are also additonal card holders on each others account).0 -
You won't know if you'll be accepted unless you apply. You can have more than one 0% offer and more than one card at a time - I've got about half a dozen just now and that's reduced from over a dozen.

Bear in mind that you can't directly transfer a balance from one MBNA backed card to another. You can take one card, transfer the balance to your current account, take the 4% fee, and use that money to clear the other MBNA card."A child of five could understand this.
