Halifax forgot to order me new debit card

Hi all I had fraud on my halifax account 2 weeks ago got cards cancelled called up today to see when I would be getting new cards as we are off on holiday next week they said new cards have not even been ordered bunch of twits.:mad:

    Would recomend putting in a complaint against your bank and asking for compensation for the inconvenionce, HBOS have a bad customer service record and need to be regularly reminded by their customers. Take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service if they refuse. You should be able to order money over the counter though with appropiate ID in the mean time. Would not recomend using your card abroad.

    Would you really recomend (sic) that based on the scant details supplied by the OP? We have no idea what type of fraudulant activity took place.
