I'm assuming you won't want to start topping it up with deionised water? Might be that it's dried out, especially if it won't hold charge.

If you're using firefox you could use https://www.lastpass.com to keep your passwords, notes and various other stuff private.

You'll only need to remember ONE password from the moment you install it and that's to get into the account itself, you're also advised to update\change that password periodically too of course, but it's your choice.

It also works with other browsers too I might add, so may be worth looking at.
