extending warranty on samsung fridge freezer

Hi,
We bought our samsung american fridge freezer just under 2 years ago (rsh1dbmh) has always been fine, but we just got a letter from currys/mastercare offering us an extended warranty for another 3 years, for £143. This is on a repair/replace if unable to repair basis.
Question is-is it worth it? I have NEVER bought an extended warranty, but have heard so many horror stories about these breaking down I am really tempted...
What do you reckon?
