As one or two know, got the system sorted now, so last thing is the Monitor. I was thinking a 22 or 24 inch, but i notice a few 23 inch ones. Anyone ever used a 23" for a gaming monitor
My budget is £170-£225(Max) These are the ones i like, any help on which one to go for would be nice.

Those look the best on offer for my price range. Anyone know which brand is best for gaming monitors.Or can anyone find anything better.
Not sure what resolution is best.

This is a very good deal : http://www.cdiscount.co.uk/Computing/Monitors/monitorsbysize/from20to22/samsung-t220-rose-red/f-1102-178157.html
It's on special offer today.
Alternatively I have this one : http://www.cdiscount.co.uk/Computing/Monitors/samsungmonitors/samsung-syncmaster-2333sw/f-1105-179899.html
That Samsung 23" is fantastic ... I bought it a couple of months ago and the image quality is fantastic. Think carefully though about what resolution your PC can comfortably handle in games though as you'll need to use the monitors native resolution. In this case the 23" has a resolution of 1920x1080 and the 22" has 1680x1050 so you'll need to consider the extra processing and graphics power required by the 23". I moved from 1680x1050 to the 1920x1080 and there is a definite difference in frame rate, luckily my machine has the power to handle it.
The big benefit for using CDiscount is that you get 3 months interest free payment with no credit agreement to sign.0 -
Save yourself some money on that Samsung, and goto eBuyer instead: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/164044Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0

plenty people swear by Dell for quality panels
This one here is within budget, is 24" , and seems to get favourable reviews

I will go for the the 23" Samsung i think. Pyschofly it is/will be a new system, and at a cost of £1000 i will be slithgly !!!!ed if it can't take the high resolution:o
Does anyone know if you get a DVI cable with these, been that long since i bought a monitor i can't remember

I just read up on that Samsung one, suppose to not have great picture:rolleyes:
To be honest, i have a 20" Samsung in my room, and it's average at best:rolleyes:
I will instead go for this, which has two reviews on the product and both rate it highly, and price is the same.
