daily telegraph call.....

I've had a phone call from this number 5 times over the past 3 days while I've been at work and been unable to answer it. They have the option to leave a voice message but haven't opted to. I've checked the competitions posted in Game Over that have ended in the past month and I haven't entered any of them so I'm guessing it's a sales call.

On the telegraph website, it states if you email [EMAIL="data.protection@telegraph.co.uk"]data.protection@telegraph.co.uk[/EMAIL] you can ask them to stop contacting you.

Ive been getting these too, Missed calls through the day and a Saturday morning when im having a lie in.. how dare they! haha. I didnt realise about the data protecting email. Thanks hstudent Ill be sending them and email

I have had them and it's to try and get you to take out subscriptions to them politely to bog off!!

I have saved this number so I dont get over excited. infact I saved it under the word CR*P and I have a nokia that talks the name when people ring so its quite amusing!

I received an email from them saying they would remove me from their list but received another 6 calls from them. :mad:

I wonder what the action the Data Protection Commisioner might take against a big company that ignores The Data Protection Act.
