What do you mean about dodgy phone contact....you mean people being rude to you on the phone, cos if thats what you mean its because customer service all over the world has basically gone totally down the pan.......

Hiya! Sorry I haven't come back on till now - out in the garden reclaiming jungle - hopefully you're out running. I just meant, not quite rude, but a lot of them have been really hopeless - not knowledgeable, not detailed, not clear, hardly treating me like a human being, even though nothing actually offensive is being said.

EDIT - Hi Squirrel! How you doing? As for drink nowadays, a couple is all I can cope with - and whereas I often *feel* like having a glass of wine when I get home, when it comes to actually opening a bottle, I just don't feel like it - and I'm really glad of that.

Glad the op went well BB.

Just been for a bit of a recovery run, my legs feel slightly heavy but seem to have bounced back pretty quickly really - my 'personal masseur' commented on Monday night that my recovery time was incredible...think what he meant was 'incredible...for a fat bird that trains once a week...' :o :rotfl:

Bunny, don't think I can do Shrewsbury hun, I'd love to but it's my weekend to have the kids. :(

If my Mum and Dad are back from France by then, I'll ask them - in fact I'll text them later and see if they could have them for that weekend.

Edit - the sad face is cos I can't do the race, not because I have the kids! :rotfl:

I know what you mean Buffy - I only registered for the first time on Monday night & was a bit spooked to find 4 people "waiting" there for me :o

One of which I haven't seen or spoken to for over 20 years - strange

Nobody wants me on facebook - truthfully, I only joined to try to keep in contact with my nephews. I keep it really quiet otherwise. It hasn't worked tho, and I haven't been on it in months.... thats possibly *why* it doesn't work!
