Isn't life great?
I was just browsing Autotrader to see what I could get for up to about £5,000 at the moment and found all of the following at or around that price....(All less than 5 years old and with less than 60,000 miles on the clock too!)
2005 BMW 3 Series Convertible
2006 Mercedes CLK Convertible
2006 Audi A4 2.0 TDi
Not sure about the colours though.
The poor sellers have ALL lost their mobiles or have no access to a land line so have asked for enquiries to be sent to a "Hotmail" type email address. The unlucky things! It just so happens that the picture showing the email contact details is virtually identical within each advert, maybe they are helping each other out... They are all 12 miles away from me so maybe they know each other?
Seriously though, why is Autotrader bothering to put scam warnings on its front page when they are allowing people to post what are obviously lures...? Oh, because they get paid for it and all of the risk is taken by the "buyer" of course.... Although in this case if they are stupid enough.....
Well, I am off to go and see one of these beauties soon.... I just have to put the £5k into Western Union to show the seller that I am serious, he has been let down before......
;)

I am not sure I would buy a con-vertible!
Particularly as the seller is so hard to con-tact.0 -
Hmmm. I detect a hint of sarcasm.0
