Vent HSBC & Egg Loan! and help please

I made a payment with egg yesterday and for some reason they have taken two of the same payments out of my account. I spoke to egg and they said they have only received one payment however on my statement with hsbc I can clearly see two. something similar happened where I looked on the internet and they have put £2000 more on my loan than should have been  then the next day it changed.

I then spoke to hsbc to some foreign lady when I explained the situation as it made me overdrawn and it isn't my fault she gave some dispute number and said she would send something to sign out in the post, I then asked well would I get charged for going overdrawn even tho its not my fault to which she said yes

How can this be right it's not my fault why should I have to pay because of one of them's stupid fault! anyone got any ideas

Ditto above. Take print outs of your online banking as proof and if possible get something from Egg to show that they only received one payment.
    Is your Egg loan online?

Log onto www.egg.com and use the messaging service. Explain what has happened. The opposite thing happened to me - I had DD's set up for an egg loan and it was taken every month, then one month they just didnt' ask for the DD... I didn't notice it but the same thing happened again the next month.. when I finally realised it (I still had the loan money for both months in my account) I mesaged them via the help section on the Egg website and they sorted it out for me.

I initially phoned my bank and they said that Egg had never asked for the DD for two of the months for whatever reason so the bank couldn't help me.
