quidco/sainsburys insurance

ahhh! I've just wasted hours of my life trying to organise my house and contents insurance and I've ended up with nothing!! Stupid Sainsburys website (accessed via quidco to get the best cashback and 30 quid voucher and nectar points - I thought I was being so clever!) twice the site crashed and at the very end would not accept any form of payment (it wouldn't accept three of my debit cards - it even told me that one of my visa debit cards shouldn't have a 'valid from date' and therefore my card must be invalid!) Do Sainsburys do this so that you end up phoning them and thus make the cashback through Quidco invalid or am I just paranoid?
