Buy which multi-function (all in one) printer? Mono not colour. Laser?

I've looked into cartridge prices a bit more.
The Canon MX310 cartridge set costs £30 and not much of a saving (£2) with compatibles! Also, one colour cartridge only. So I must rule it out.
I'm finalising my choice between:
Brother MFC-235C. Cartridge set £30 but compatibles only £6.
Epson BX300F. Cartiridge set £30 but compatibles only £6.
So which one to go for.....;)0 -
oops, i see an error in my previous post
they are around £14 for compatibles but that is for 12 cartridges < shouldnt be a £ sign.
the compatible i mentioned work just like the orginials, its to do with the chip, version 6 is the one to get.
printer wont know its not an epson.0
