Sounds like a good plan. I have a few self seeded around the garden now, but have never managed to set the seed myself. I noticed that they seem to hit the soil at many different angles - perhaps you could try a few at different angles in pots? Good luck!

    Hello,

We bought some of theses seeds from a garden show - no instructions on the packet and foolishly we didn't ask. So I put them in pots in my plastic outdoor greenhouse thing and treated them like all my other seeds. Amazingly, two out of the three have germinated :j

Crikey, 3 seeds? They were being a bit generous, weren't they?

Best treatment is surface sow now, and don't give up if they do nothing; let them go through a full winter outside before discarding. Can be tricky, but normally germinate in 2 weeks - 3 months.
