3 month car insurance - help!

Hi Guys,
My car insurance is due for renewal but I will be selling my car within the next 2 months in order to finance a trip away. Can anyone suggest the cheapest way to go about insuring my car for the next 2-3 months?

I was in the same situation as you and I found the cheapest way for me was to insure for 12 months with First Direct and then cancel - the cancellation charge is about £15-£20 (I cant remember which) and thats all it costs you since you get the unused portion of insurance back.
I dont think there was anyone else who could beat that cancellation charge - however - if the insurance is mega expensive in its own right then that could change things.
I only needed the insurance for 1 month so it worked fine for me.0
