Hi just a few questions
When your offer is accepted does the property then become "sold stc" and can other people put in offers once yours has been accepted?
Thanks

i think it says "under offer" first, then when your searches etc are done it goes to "sold stc".
You can carry on making offers while under offer, but I think it stops when sold stc.
If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will say as I'm a ftb as well who does not know all the in's and out's0 -
I think it all depends on what you agree with the estate agents. We have just bought and it went sold stc immediately. We did stipulate though that if our offer was accepted we wanted the property to be withdrawn from the market and any future viewings cancelled. Luckily the vendors agreed
Nothing is guaranteed until exchange of contracts unfortunately, even if the place is showing as sold stc there is nothing stopping someone else coming along and making an offer.

Ours was still in the estate agent window until last week when we exchanged! It was through a relocation company who refused to take it off the market. However if you can get your vendor to accept your offer on the condition that they remove it from the market, it would probably mean they wouldn't get anymore offers.0
