I changed ISP from Demon to Madasafish, the DG 834 didn't like it, other people have had problems with this router. Haven't managed to fix it and am thinking of getting another router.

I intend to change broadband ISP once every year, to get the best deal, and need a wireless broadband router that is happy with all this. I fancy a Belkin one or the BT Voyager 2100, or Ozenda. Any comments or suggestions?

Madasafish use different settings, I reconfigured and it doesn't work wirelessly, I might have another go at updating the firmware.

Doesn't matter what ISP you are on, the wireless side(LAN) is not interested on the ISP
    This is your network.

The only setting you may have to change would be your WAN settings (ADSL) Config

Was this working fine before you changed the settings?
    My thinking would be no,
Have you Changed the wireless settings (you can turn the power down on some)
I have a D-link G604T had now for just over 6 months no problem at all.

once again a change in ISP will not affect your wireless connection

I wouldn't assume it is the Router model at fault.. mine is flawless.

Interference or an old version of the firmware is the most likely cause..

Download this, and check what the neighbours are using, choose a channel 5 channels away from them

Download the latest firmware from here:

If you are using WEP, try WPA.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

Thank u all, I'll fiddle with it at the weekend and update the firmware. I'll also do a search to see if the Wireless LAN in the computer needs updating.
