go to an IFA, they would probably help you more than anyone on the board can. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0

i agree our finanical advisor was a saint he helped us through loads
still shop around with the different advisors though as you may find that you get on better with some than others (some tell you porkies to get your custom we found unfortunalty) but most of them are good
ours was so great that we got our insurance through him as well
perhaps if you post what area you are in and ask people to personal mail you regarding recommendations of who they have used in your area
also have a look on the house selling and property prices board as i found advice sometimes can lap over on these two boardsWell we finally did it got a house not on a main road, next a railway line or any other werid and wonderful things that get on my nerves!!!

Don't confuse IFA with independant mortgage adviser. They are both different.
IFA's tend to deal more in investments etc, while and Independant / Whole of Market Mortgage adviser / broker has specialised in arranging mortgages.
For some tips on the buying process, offering on property etc, look at this link to one of my previous posts.

Will you be buying the property on shared ownership or under the keyworker scheme?I am a Mortgage Adviser
You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice.0 -
I wouldn't do anything until I'd got those loan/cc payments down to nothing. Shelling out £300 p/m will make it harder for you to get a good deal on your mortgage, apart from anything else.0
