Next Directory Limits

Hi Guys,

I have heard of peoples limits dissappearing on their Next accounts but just wondered how often this happens? I have just checked and my available credit is £0 although I had an increase on my last statement? How odd...... My balance is on £40 and my limit is £300.00

What a joke!

Good job you didn't want to place an order mate! It's not your billing day is it - maybe they have decided that they have revoked your account - ring em and ask then let us know lol :T:T

On your billing day the Next computer resets your limit and and then churns all your data including your cra data and then comes out with a limit.

Thats what I was told once from next.I have had a account for eight years and my limit has stayed the same - except for six months in 2006 it went down twice and then back up to my current limit. When I queried I was told this was most likely due to me having moved twice in a year.I had no adverse info on my account.

    Anyway thats my experience!

Mine has changed twice in 2 months. It started at £150 then it rose to £250 now it's back at £150. Very bizarre behaviour. My Dad's limit changes too.

    Sussed it!

They set limits each month just after they know what income they have generated! If everyone missed a payment then everyone's limit would go to £0.00! haha
