Hi

I have a yahoo.co.uk account which I have used for years and all is (was) fine with it.
At the moment, I am emailing my accountant with information, my emails go through fine however I am not receiving their replies.
There are two people that I email, I seem to be getting read receipts from only one of them now whereas I have had them from both in the past, although I'm not sure how that is set up on Yahoo....and don't know how to turn it off....they are the only people I get read receipts from, so maybe their side??! :rotfl:
I have received emails from them both before but now nothing.....I am receiving all other emails I think..... :o
They believe their email is working as people are replying to their emails, so I'd have to agree it probably is!!!!

Does anyone have any ideas??

Thanks heaps

M

It may be worth checking your "Bulk" folder, they may have been recognised as spam by mistake?
  • Hi,

It sounds like you have the spam filter enabled on Yahoo. If you go in and turn this off and then ask the sender to try again.

I presume that you are not using this with outlook? If so, then it could be going into a 'junk' folder within outlook.

    Hope that helps

Hi thanks for your replies, however, they aren't going into spam, one of the emails was going into spam, but now I'm not receiving them at all. I have checked through all the Spam messages. I use the account through Yahoo and Outlook, and the mails don't appear in either of them.

    Any other ideas?!

    Thanks

  • OK, it sounds like your ISP has banned the email account.

I had a lot of trouble with that a few years ago, I recieve emails from my boss on her personal AOL account, but I couldn't reply as AOL believed I was sending spam.

So it sounds like the same problem, but in reverse? If the messages are not being delivered they should get a message to indicate why. Ask them to contact their network administrator to look into it.
