in Credit cards
Hi folks,
Im starting a new job in two weeks, but I have to go away for a training programme before I start. I have to pay for my accomodation and travel, although I will be able to claim it back. Therefore I will need a high limit and I need to card as soon as possible. When using the card in the future I intend to pay off the balance at the end of each month.
Does anyone have any advice on which card would suit me?

The general advice given to people who are 'new to credit cards' is to either approach your own bank (as you have some history with them) or try one of the 'credit builder' cards.
However, I believe someone posted recently that they applied for a Barclaycard on a Friday, and it was delivered the following Tuesday.
Barclaycard are currently offering 0% for 3 months on your purchases, just in case your expenses are late.
Barclaycard are not known for their high limits, but if this is your first credit card you'll probably not get a high limit anyway.0
