Hi,
I've searched around for this but couldn't find anything (apologies if I didn't look hard enough).
I've just got my Capital One Card, and was looking into the free Equifax Reports. I've previously had one for a few months then cancelled it.
To qualify for the free reports should I sign up as a new customer with my Cap1 Card details or can I go in as a returning customer & just edit the card details to my cap1?
I didn't want to just log in as my old account incase I got stung for a charge...
cheers

I think you are talking about 2 seperate offers here.
In the first case I think you are talking about the general offer here for a free trial.
http://www.equifax.co.uk/
In which case you will not be able to get it again.
The second offer you are talking about is here and is specific to capital one customers.
http://www.equifax.co.uk/capitalone/index.html
So if I'm right so far, then the way to avoid paying is to go through the correct (second) link specifically for the Capital One offer.0 -
That is right - use the cap1 link. I too had just finished the free equifax offer when I took up the cap1 offer. Just to be on the safe side I created a different user name and use a different email id. This was about one year ago and so far no problems.0
