Portable DVD Players

Hello,

I am looking around for the best deal and best purchase portable DVD player to take on holiday abroad with me. Can anyone make any suggestions please? Also, when re-charging abroad will the adaptor plug work ok?

Thank you

Caroline

I don't think you'll do better than the current one Aldi is selling. It's 49.95. As well as the usual DVD format it'll also play .AVI files - the compressed film(movie) files you may download over the Internet :) On top of that it will also play SD cards - so you can also stick your films on these for convenience. The 3 year guarantee is vi a firm called Fascin8.co.uk & they've just fixed the one, at no cost('cept postage one way), that I bought last year. I bought one a couple of years before that, too - all still working fine but I keep wanting the latest one:) They're really GREAT little m/c's. Wife uses hers almost every night.

Charging: -straight from theUser's Guide: AC 100-240V~ 50/60Hz. So, all you'll need is an adaptor. Also, runs off 12v DC. Built in battery - only just had new one but previous experience suggests I'll get around 2hrs playing time.

    Plays MP3's.

As you can see - I can't praise them enough:) Just a very happy customer - no affiliation at all ..

    Regards, Bill.
