Joiner in Fife Area

Hi to all in the Forums

Looking for a joiner ( the chap i usually use is on holiday for the next fornight, and although no great rush for him to return from holiday i dont know how busy he will be on his return )

So All you Fifers out there, can anyone recommend a joiner ????
Someone who is reliable, clean, and not overly expensive .

I have a cupboard in my bedroom that i need removed and plasterboarded over so it looks like a complete wall when the decorating is done.

I also have a 3 mirrored sliding doors on my wardrobe that i want to change,

( I can buy these from B and Q along with extra hanging shelves )

what i need is a joiner to put some contiboard ( beach or maple into the exsisting wardrobe so it all looks nice and new,
put the additional shelving and change over thedoors that i will buy )

I had looked at buying new sliding doors and full wardrobe from a company who would replace all of my sliding wardrobe, but i really was shocked at the cost, and i know you are paying for the guys time with fitting of new wardrobes, but i am sure there is a local joiner out there that can help .

A few years ago I used a guy based in Cupar called Steven Middleton for kitchen fitting and general joinery work. He did an excellent job and was very reasonable at the time.

He seems to have moved more into conservatories now but he might be glad of a bit of extra work in the current climate. I'm sure he's in the local directory, have lost his number.

I'd be interested to hear if you find anyone else, I'm needing some quotes for fitting tongue and groove panelling in a bathroom.

On a side note, I also need someone to create a custom stair banister - any recommendations there?
