LTSB PPI claim advice

Hello again
I received a letter today from LTSB saying that after 8 weeks they are currently unable to provide me with a "final response". Furthermore, if I am unhappy with the delay, I should go directly to FOS and they included an FOS leaflet.
However, it does say that investigation is ongoing and a final response should be expected shortly.
What should I do? Wait a bit or go to FOS now?
Cheers!
Hi mrjack
This is a standard letter from Lloyds, the main of us receive these, but this is up to you, there is no harm in still going to the FOS, while still waiting for the response from Lloyds tsb, then if they do get back and resolve in your favour that your happy with, you can just cancel with the FOS, if not at least you already have your complaint with them, you just send the FOS the final confirmation you received from Lloyds tsb.
For a complaint form you can download and print off the FOS website or ring to arrange for them to send you this through the post.

Hope this helps, good luck with this and please keep us posted.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I have an update on one of the loans. They cancelled the PPI and returned the money I paid for it (£173!). However, I haven't heard back about the PPI on the other (now closed) loan yet.0

Hi there
Thanks for this update.
Have you checked that if this was the amount you actually paid in?
Give them a call on the other one, just to chase them up, also due to the recent postal strikes.
Good luck and well done.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Yeah, £173 is bang on what I paid. So that's good.
I did phone Lloyds, apparently it's still under investigation..0 -
Been a while but received around £800 a few months ago after FO's involvement!0

Elliot,
can you explain your sentence at the bottom of your comment 'reclaim PPI with a specialist'? Are you trying to promote claims companies?Liam :money::beer:0
