We're offering a summer work placement for a bright, friendly undergraduate/postgraduate to assist the editorial team in research for the weekly email and deals. It will involve checking for legitmacy, fact checking, some writing plus making lots of calls to press offices.
We would like someone to join the team for a minimum of six weeks as soon as possible though we could wait for the right candidate.
Who's this suitable for?
Ideally someone on a break from university although we will consider other suitable applicants. It's a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into journalism/media. We're a friendly but busy team so be prepared to hit the ground running!
Requirements:
This is office based, so you must currently be based in the UK, within commuting distance of our office in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. Good knowledge of the internet, the ability to type and excellent written/spoken English skills are essential.
To enable you to assist the team fully, good knowledge of www.moneysavingexpert.com and a passion for MoneySaving is desirable though not a prerequisite.
Hours:
10am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Pay
This is a temporary intern scheme aimed at giving someone an opportunity to develop their work and experience. As such it is a nominal pay rate of £6 an hour.
