Hi All,
OH's birthday soon and I know he wants a scanner to use:
a) local civil airport viewing park
b) airshows
c) military airbase vieiwing areas
so I need UHF and VHF right? Any recommendations because I'm getting dizzy! Maplins seem to have a decent range but some of them seem to say UHF but not airband which makes no sense to me at all?! Need something which can be delivered before the end of next week and in MSE style cheaper the better although I know they're not cheap items in general!
Many thanks,
mcspanna

You could try asking in one of the many 'scanner' forums:

HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0
