Hi
Please could someone help me out here . My Sons Xbox 360 had the dreaded `red lights` a couple of months ago but we got it replaced no problem by Microsoft .
Now we have a new problem though . He had a cooler fan plugged in back which looks as if it has overheated and melted . When he`s pulled it out he`s taken one of the pins out so the power cable does not now power the console up .
Obviously this is not a Microsoft problem so who can I contact to repair it?
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Jeff

Thoose cooler fans are bad news. yes they may cool the inside of the box down ,but they also overload the electrics , meaning things brown out .
it should be repairable , but don't stick a fan on it when it is mended . i have had a xbox 360 since they came out and never had to use a cooling fan .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

your lucky then
op my advice, if you stand the xbox up, i do believe it is the right hand side, keep that side upwards not underneath and very cool if you can, it may help to prevent the red lights as the problem ships are on that side
as for the fans
as mentioned very new bad news
i read that some were so crap that they decreased the xbox's cooling by further blocking airflow whilst not having enough power too suck more in to compensate.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
