    WD is not only anti-virus but malware scanner too. From experience, if you set it to keep quiet and do a scan/update from time to time it will stay out of your way.

    It's an anti-spyware application, not an anti-virus.

    In my experience, it doesn't do much detecting of anything at all. It doesn't seem to hurt to leave it running though.

    Yeah, it reminds me of the the old MSAV (MicroSoft Anti Virus) program that came with DOS.
    Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!
